How do I register for the Kauvery Marathon?

You can register online through the official Kauvery Marathon website: https://kauverymarathon.com/hosur/.

Can I register manually (offline)?

No. All registrations must be completed online. Offline registrations are not accepted.

Will there be spot registration on the event day?

No. On-the-spot registrations will not be accepted. All participants must register online before the registration deadline.

Can I modify my registration after confirmation?

No. Once your registration is confirmed, it cannot be modified, transferred, or cancelled, except as permitted by the Event Organizer.

Can I transfer my registration to another participant?

No. Registrations are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly approved by the Event Organizer.

Will I receive a confirmation after registration?

Yes. A confirmation email and/or SMS will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number after successful registration.

I encountered an issue during registration. I have been charged but did not receive a confirmation. What should I do?

Is there a minimum age requirement for participants?

The minimum age requirements are:
10 km: 14 years
5 km: 12 years

Can I participate in multiple race categories?

No. Participants may register for only one race category.

Can participants from other states register?

Yes. Participants from other states are welcome to register and participate. Participation and prize categories are open to all.

Are T-shirts provided for all race categories?

Yes. An event T-shirt will be provided to all registered participants.

When and where will the Expo be conducted?

Details of the Expo venue and schedule will be announced closer to the event date.

When and where can I collect my race kit?

Race kits will be distributed during the Expo. Detailed information will be shared through the official website and registered email.

Can someone else collect my race kit on my behalf?

Yes. A representative may collect your race kit by presenting an authorization letter and a copy of your valid ID proof, subject to the Event Organizer's guidelines.

Will timing chips be provided?

Yes. Timing chips will be provided for participants in the 10 km race categories.

What is the race route?

The official race route map will be published before the event and will also be available during the Expo.

What are the cut-off times for each race category?

The official cut-off times are:
10 km: 2 hours
5 km: 1 hour

When should I arrive at the venue?

Participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled race start time.

Can I start after the official race start time?

Late starts may not be permitted. Participants are requested to report before the designated reporting time mentioned in the event instructions.

Will medical support be available during the event?

Yes. Medical teams, ambulances, first-aid stations, and a Medical Base Camp will be available during the event.

What should I do if I feel unwell during the race?

Stop immediately and seek assistance from the nearest medical volunteer, aid station, or race official.

What should I bring on race day?

Please bring:
Your Race Bib (if already collected)
A valid photo ID
Comfortable running attire and shoes
Personal medication (if required)
A reusable water bottle (optional)

Will parking facilities be available?

Yes. Parking facilities will be available on race day at designated parking areas.

Will baggage storage be available?

No. Baggage storage facilities will not be available. Participants are advised to carry only essential personal belongings.

How many hydration stations will be available?

An adequate number of hydration stations will be available at designated locations along the race route.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes. Water and post-race refreshments will be provided to all participants.

Will there be signage and volunteers along the route?

Yes. Directional signage and trained volunteers will be stationed throughout the race route to assist participants.

Where can I check my race results?

Official race results will be shared with participants through their registered email address and mobile number after the event.

Will finishers receive a medal and certificate?

Yes. All finishers will receive a finisher's medal and an e-certificate upon successfully completing the race.
