Participation in Kauvery Marathon, organized by Kauvery Hospital, signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
The Event Organizer reserves the right to amend the event date, schedule, venue, race categories, or any other event details due to operational requirements or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated through the official event communication channels.
Participants from all states are welcome to register for the event. Participation and prize categories are open to all.
Participants must complete the official registration process by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and paying the applicable registration fee.
Participants must carefully select their event category during registration. Once confirmed, registrations are personal, non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified unless expressly approved by the Event Organizer.
Participants must provide a valid email address and mobile number that they regularly access, as these will be the primary channels for all event-related communication.
Participants agree to receive event-related notifications, updates, and important communications through SMS and email using their registered contact details.
Participants also authorize the Event Organizer and Sponsors to send promotional emails, SMS, and information regarding products, services, offers, and future events.
Participants authorize the Event Organizer, Sponsors, and their authorized representatives to verify, process, exchange, and share the information provided by them for purposes relating to event administration, verification, promotion, and statistical analysis, in accordance with applicable laws.
Participants using email services with spam filters are advised to add support@myraceindia.com to their safe sender list to ensure receipt of event communications.
Any communication sent to the registered email address or mobile number shall be deemed to have been received by the participant.
Participants should provide only relevant and accurate mailing information and avoid entering duplicate information across multiple address fields.
Participants below 18 years of age may participate only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. Registration of a minor is subject to the review and approval of the Race Management Team. The parent or guardian confirms that the minor has permission to participate and agrees that these Terms & Conditions shall apply to the minor participant.
Participants must be in good physical condition and are strongly advised to consult their physician and undergo a complete medical examination before participating in the event.
Marathon running and other endurance events involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions with other participants, weather conditions, extreme heat or humidity, traffic, road conditions, fire, terrorist threats, and other risks associated with public events.
By participating, participants voluntarily assume all such risks and accept full responsibility for any injury, illness, disability, death, property damage, or other losses that may occur during or as a result of the event.
Participants with known medical conditions should wear appropriate medical identification and inform the Event Organizer before the event.
Participants shall comply with all instructions issued by the Event Organizer, Race Director, Medical Team, Aid Station Volunteers, and event officials in the interest of participant safety.
Participants must immediately stop participating if instructed by the Race Director, Medical Team, or authorized event officials.
Participants will not be permitted to remain on the race course beyond the officially announced cut-off time.
Participants, volunteers, and attendees shall conduct themselves respectfully and in a sportsmanlike manner throughout the event.
Harassment, discrimination, misconduct, abusive behaviour, or violation of event rules will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
Participants are expected to cooperate fully with the Event Organizer and event officials at all times.
Participants consent to the capture of photographs, videos, audio recordings, and other media during the event.
The Event Organizer, Sponsors, and affiliated partners may use such recordings, together with the participant's name and likeness, for promotional, marketing, documentation, publicity, and event-related purposes without additional consent or compensation.
Participants acknowledge and agree that their personal information may be collected, stored, processed, and shared by the Event Organizer, Sponsors, affiliated organizations, and authorized service providers solely for event administration, communication, promotional activities, statistical analysis, and other legitimate event-related purposes, in accordance with applicable laws.
Participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participating in the event and voluntarily accept full responsibility for their participation.
The Event Organizer, Kauvery Hospital, Sponsors, affiliates, volunteers, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, disability, death, accident, loss, theft, or damage to person or property arising directly or indirectly from participation in the event.
Registration fees and merchandise purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified once registration has been confirmed.
No refund shall be provided if a participant is unable to attend the event on race day for any reason.
The Event Organizer reserves the right to reject any registration application without assigning any reason. In such cases, only the registration fee collected from rejected applications will be refunded, excluding applicable bank charges.
The Event Organizer reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, suspend, or cancel the event due to adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, riots, government restrictions, public safety concerns, force majeure events, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
In such circumstances, registration fees and merchandise purchases shall remain non-refundable.
